I can't see them being immune to sun flare damage on satellite and other electrical systems, intentional jamming and electrical interference from random sources, computer/software glitches and failures etc. Could be many years before they are 'match hardened' and we are able to have faith, blind or otherwise with 100% confidence in their reliability. I'm certainly not holding my breath on this one....
