oil poised for surge to 80 dollars

Muhammed Saeed al-Sahaf has just overseen an extensive research project which proves beyond doubt that a surge in the oil price to $80 US is unavoidable and very near at hand.
" The whole Northern Hemisphere is about to have the mother of all winters, OPEC will cut production by at least 6 million barrels per day very shortly, and I have very reliable intelligence that the Russians are up to something. So how could it be otherwise?", Mr al-Sahaf said today at a press conference, before making a fast exit in the back of a delivery van.
