Oil is a finite resource and as such despite many believing the earth's centre is like a creamy nougat full of oil, it is becoming increasingly expensive to find and extract. The very fact that we are utilizing Canada's tar sands supply should be a big enough hint to those whose chose to remain ignorant that we are struggling to keep up with demand.
