Oil has hit $US59 /bbl and then eased to $US58.98 [bloomberg energy]. This makes the $US35 broker forecasts appear rather useless. Goldman Sachs and several smaller brokers have competent analysts, but the rest, including Maccas look quite silly with their very low numbers. HDR's oil production and sales commences in less than 8 weeks.
