Hi folks,

What's an oil sample worth these days?

In FAR's case about $100 million - that's the market cap increase (approx) since the announcement 3 weeks ago.

FAR's market cap is now $220 million

CVN's market cap is now $230 million

CVN has oil producing income from Thailand, a major oil discovery in Western Australia & $50 million in cash.

Seeing as FAR's current cash position is considerably less than this, then it's fair to say that FAR's EV appears to be actually higher than CVN's right now!

That's actually a reality check for me!

FAR's got some juicy targets ofcourse & success in both wells could still see a 3 bagger or so from here plus a fair bit of 'running room' in the Senegal permits for future drilling.

However, I have sold half of what I had & put these profits into two of FAR's ASX, smaller market cap peers, who are also seeking a commercial discovery offshore West Africa.

Not suggesting anyone else do the same.
