oil shale in qld to be outlawed

ok, not the shale itself but the production- have a look at posting in ASX Ltd thread today by Kincella.

so- on the plus side, irc has offloaded the oil from julia creek shale to another mob ('extract' i think they are called), but any co-production at julia creek with this group is now likely dead, and the shares irc got in extract in return for the oil shale rights will likely take a dive.

from a save-the-earth-from-carbon-before-its-too-late perspective i am happy with qld state govt, oil shale is very dirty and consumes bucketloads of water. but as an irc shareholder i can only say "booooo".
