Differenting pressures between the rock layers, imagine a layer of shales with forced pressure from miles away from oil pushing into them, pressure makes heat in the shales which in turn makes existing plant life turn into a working petroleum system, too much pressure forces the lighter thus smaller molecules upwards and downwards and sideways the rocks are like a sponge so absorb the larger molecules (oil) and we get gases (c1-c5) seeping up until the cool down and turn back into a vapour... No seal needed as its producing its own oil, with the Horst seal to our south and we are in the middle of the fairway we effectively have a conveyor system of oil coming from prudhoe bay and liquid vapid phase liquids under pressure on top of the hrz.... I have alluded to it over the past few weeks and months but now am willing to say... Not conventional as such but still as valuable.... Below the hrz/hue we might have heavier oil below the shales under so much pressure the shale acts as the seal... Metomorphic rocks that aren't overly mature...
