oil the next dumb theory

Morn all , In the last couple of months we've heard every reason under the sun to justify why oil is trading at these prices .
Last week it was Norway on strike , hurricanes in the Gulf , attacks on Iraqi oil lines , Yugos in Russia going belly up , China's growing demand , India's growing demand, Opecs reluctance to increase supply, not enough ships for transportation .
The list goes on and on and every week is a different reason .

I wonder when the press will tell the truth ?

Maybe we'll have to wait till after the USA election for clarification or maybe we'll find out the exact reason 1 - 2 weeks before .

Is it a coincidence that the USA market has been consolidating all year ?
