The worlds reserves of methane hydrate are twice the reserves and past use of other fossil fuels,oil,coal,gas etc. However, the technology of exploiting these has yet to be developed but no doubt will be found. Much of these reserves are in the Gulf of Mexico area and NE USA coastline. Other reserves are found off coastlines around the world. At current oil prices work will be advanced to exploit these resources.
