If may jump on your coat tails so to speak tweets, this bit jumped out at me regarding the Perth Basin.

"To give some perspective, research by Professor Brian Evans, Head of the Department of Petroleum Engineering at Curtin University in WA, has revealed that there are five stacked
layers of shale in the Perth Basin that could collectively be four times larger than the Barnett Shale that spreads throughout vast areas of Fort Worth, Dallas, Texas. The Barnett Shale has been the epicentre of shale gas production in the US and is estimated to contain 168 Tcf or more than 180,000 PJ of gas, around 25% of which is currently considered recoverable."
