There is a two or three year pent up demand for computer chips and things like new graphics cards are about to come onto the market in September for the first time in two years (although they will use way more power than the last gen, they will be much faster).
I just got the current gen cos I don’t want to use more than 215watts, but there is plenty of pent up demand from covid shortages. This will increase oil use in asia.
