Ave, it is my belief there were some major grumblings about MC being able to carry the company to the next level with the farm-out deals at the time. Also in the areas of capital raisings. I believe, from what was said to me, that the push come from some bigger individual holders at the time. And let's face it there were hardly an insto's on the books at the time.

I am led to believe that it had nothing to do with the board at the time.

It is with irony that this is how the first change of management came about with MC getting the seat....and it happened again.

I can say that this all relates back to DJ's who were pushing this at the time. Basically if MC didn't go he would be pushed. MC was also invovled with Dj's...so try and figure that out.

Certain persons put the word out to head hunt someone with O and G experience and in the end Eve became available and MC was rolled.

I have no idea to the actual backers behind it all, I do know one person in particular who played a part and they were not board members and that's where I got my information from, name I shall not mention.

I liked Margaret as well, very knowledgeable, but current management moved away from the green fields type plays.

I think what we have seen over the last year, as I have pointed out numerous times previously is a massive change in shareholder makeup and a cleansing of the register..once and for all.

In my view, behind the scenes there has been a nasty and difficult battle and on the surface we have seen an erosion of the share price as a result of this, only to be even further thwarted by delays in morocco approval.

Not sure how things sit with the 3rd and minority JV holder of Aus assets as well...I think there is more to this than meets the eye with Aus assets and maybe with the board spills themselves in the past. Just maybe, the battle lines have now been drawn. Just speculating here, maybe others here can confirm something here....but something about these Aus assets is on the nose here and I am not so sure its about the assets themselves.
