Thanks so much Jeffo! Those scenes have always been a mystery and as under done as MC may have been at least he was communicative to the market. Obviously the price under his tenure was also way better and believe the farmouts would have been way better too. I mean cmon it would not have been hard to get better than we ended up with. Surely, the share price would have been so much stronger with a good quality farminee for the Australian assets and again I can not believe that at least ENI would not have jumped at the chance for a way way better deal given its proximity to Blacktip. Of course I can not claim that as fact but they need more gas and obviously proximity to existing assets would have been very compelling. A travesty for existing shareholders to have suffered this crap when it all could have and should have been an almost dream run. A strong portfolio , good assets, good interest from quality majors as they are in fact all over the JB gulf.
We have suffered for an extremely stupid array of circumstances and just sad that so few had the power to make changes that has affected us all so dismally when it just did not need to happen.
And again this signature for the right to drill just reinforces what the market already knows ...hope it goes up so I can retrieve my considerable investment and so you all will be relieved of my whingeing. To that end I also am a bit baffled why others are not as angry as I.
