OK - the entire Malaysian licensing thing has me puzzled.
As a VERY long time holder, I've obviously been following things all along.
But - I though Lynas lodged their application for a Pre-Operating Licence back around June last year? And that they've been through several re-writes of that application?
So - this latest announcement is only that they have applied for the Pre-Operating Licence.... which is what I thought they did months ago???
Nothing about it's being approved - that won't happen until AFTER January 20th - or 30th.
The only thing I can take out of this announcement is that we now have a more-or-less definite timeline. But it still depends on the bureaucracy to put the thing through ASSUMING that it gets approved and then tabled.
Things sure are moving exceedingly slowly, and there are still potential hurdles to overcome. I still wouldn't be counting any chickens just yet.....
