duicorp, asset protection, even if you have pre-nups I would not count on it, unless you are going to change partners every 12 months or so am sure you are so smart you would know that
have not checked this in a long time, but ages ago in NSW you only needed a de facto partner for 18 months and she would have a case as good as a spouse
dont know about Vic, but the states seem to be making similar laws the only sure asset protection you have is if you remain single cheers
