    By the way, you put it on beforehand, not afterwards... as was done with noxonol-9, which has been or is in the process of being phased out for increasing rather than decreasing the chances of contracting STD's, including AIDS.

    The idea is it kills any incidence of the virus in situ, before it can enter the blood stream...probably kills sperm as well?

    Not as good as a condom, but better than nothing!
