Yes and no.
Some just follow the money; others will say it seemed a good idea at the time; whilst others still have no idea what they've just bought.
Moreover, for no apparent logic, and at the slighest drop of a few percent, they are only too happy to bail.
Therefore, confidence doesn't really have that much to do with it.
But you are right about each to their own.
