I have to say , that if you consider yourself a long term holder , I feel that stop losses can be more harmful than good.
As a long term holder and believer in a company , only a sudden horrid change in fundimentals can change things , whereas the market is full of bots and manipulators who can set off sudden stop loss raid to get your shares cheap.
On the other hand as a trader , stop losses are critical to have to preserve capital.
I have to say , that if you consider yourself a long term holder...
