Everything you do on the sharemarket involves a risk assessment (at least is should!).

If you don't use a stop loss you risk losing capital.
If you do use a stop loss you risk being the victim of deliberate triggering of stops by predators (has happened to me twice).

On balance, for me, I don't have a stop in place for PRR as I believe the risk of being stopped out and missing a surge upwards (as described by Awesome) outweighs the risk of a catastrophic and permanent drop in SP (at the current time at least).

Although my capital would be protected by a stop of just below 9c anyway ;)
