G, my call was driven to remove the day traders or Short termers from the stock. Time and time again we see price manipulation before open and matching out at close. Trading during the day has also been capped.

Decreasing the number of shares on issue should, in theory, increase the shareprice as the MC shouldn't change. The day traders and short termers then will ignore the stock as the daily movement in % terms will be less. Example of this resently was DLS (example only I am comparing like for like).

1:10 Consolidation would put the stock at almost $1, MC still around $30m the only real issue would be shares on issue reduced a tiny 30 million which is not that good.

G, in the end its a call driven by SP frustration but I also beleive may have some merit going forward.
