I do take on board what Coppertop says, as I said in an earlier post he is one of my favourite posters on Hotcopper.

That said, I sold at 41.5 just before the close today for no other reason other than the uncertainty around the tax, since I, like Coppertop, have held for just part of the year and I did not want to absorb the full tax liability with only half the dividend (and I felt that I needed to do more research to understand this better before I exposed myself to this uncertainty).

I am confident that I will buy back in (maybe even tommorrow).

I agree with you for a couple of reasons:

1. You said about Coppertop that his followers agree with his comments because he says what we want to hear - I do agree with what Coppertop says for that reason (ie he provides meaningful info about the stock)

2. ipod is a legend. I too was introduced to this stock from reading his posts

3. There's lots of negative talk around what I feel we can't really control as minorities - ie the management fees etc - I do not know anything else to comment about this though
