That sounds terrible and I really feel for you. I wouldn't know how to cope if I lost my kids.
The ironic thing is, if things were more equal between men and women, you mightn't have lost custody of them. If fathers were seen as equally caring and nurturing as the mother, and not just the breadwinner things would be different.
Distrust of all women because of your individual experience is not helpful to you, or anyone really.
