A couple of friends of my wife. I believe they have now left their abusive relationships. And to a lesser degree someone in my immediate family. Why do you ask? Do I need to know someone personally who is getting beaten up to take a position on this topic?
And abuse is not always physical. Can be emotional as well. Sometimes but not always leads to physical abuse.
