I think the media articles are more about not accepting it or letting it happen again, innocents are not being blamed..

You must be death or blind not to hear or read all the "men have to change, men to blame rhetoric".....two examples below

Malcolm Turnbull "Australia must do more to change the hearts of men to respect women"

Lisa Wilkinson "we should be telling our boys not to rape girls"
