To add another point, the fact that apartments caused the rise in the dubious data, indicates to me that more apartments are selling because they are cheap, and the bank can still give you the money to buy one.
The articles prefer to grab on to the 0.1% increase headline, rather than drill into the data and make and educated analysis of the data. Makes a good story I suppose.
