Why do you people want property prices to go up and up and up into the stratosphere? Sure you may trade up and pocket the difference, but have you actually thought about what this practice, when spread out is doing to our society?

With prices so high still, we have young couples who will have to slave away for the next 30 years to pay back unsustainable mortgages for tiny apartments and houses. That's if they don't lose their jobs in whatever is coming next. Their kids, if they can barely afford to have them, will never get the same quality of upbringing as you have, since they'll hardly see their parents who are at work day in day out....Chances are, they'll grow up in these masses of apartments that are rising up everywhere these days - they can forget about ever having a dog.

I'm not talking about OTHER people though - I'm talking about YOUR kids, however old they are. What are you wishing upon them? And, what are you wishing upon yourselves, when you realise that when you're old and grey - they'd have forgotten about you in the midst of the life they've wasted to strive for that big Australian dream that you have snatched away from them.
