I have props on the nsw/vic border, on the murray river, the main syd/melb drag....they do have the hume dam...300klms diameter, biggest grass courts southern hemisphere, biggest livestock selling centre, army barracks..
and large tourism...hour to snowfields, 3 hours Melb...
lots of popular golf courses and wineries surrounding...
bought there because I know the area and it was very cheap...otherwise Melb is my preferred location for lifestyle
your 20-30 years for investment is very sound....I doubt I will be around that long...due to my health....but it would certainly be fun....to look back on our posts....houses will probably be 1 mill for first home buyers by then
