Repost of what I added to the other thread as that pricked my interest too due to it nearly causing a pile up just a couple of weeks ago.

An idiot recently did that in front of me. Just opened the door without looking, another car on my right, narrow busy road. I hit the brakes, swore, swerved into the gap in the next lane, and didn't take her door off. Stupid $%&^%!!!"
