    Practical men with integrity seem to be the scarce commodity in western australia, when it comes to creating a deep water rail IO port, how about build the cheapest most basic system rather than a rolls royce.

    MMX worked that one out, snouted up other peoples money, they got a set of paper plans.

    Maybe they can start mining the moon next.

    Normal situation - deluded grandeur visionary managemnt whose prime motivation is to get there greedy snouts in the trough. When the project goes tits up they act less than honourably.

    A bamboo railway solves a problem of transporting people cheaply. It can be uipgraded as well. The lesson here is practicality. Goal setting.

    Is the goal achievable.

    SMART

    S = specific - build a port and railway to transport IO.
    M =Measurable - load, delivery time
    A =Achievable - Walk before you run.
    R =Relevant
    T =Time Bound.Go ask MMX, where is the rolls royce port? Go ask those that quoted for it why they haven't got the job done.

    Korea, Mitsibishi, Sino West -

    15 WA blokes and two drysdale horses built a railway from kalgoorlie to Laverton in 18 months to develop WA mining. It was practical blokes like that who built this state.

    Just goes to show how soft we have become. Deluded individuals who talk, raise money and then throw the shareholders under the bus and produce nothing. The only thing they did was use an expense account of other peoples money.

    I would love to see the BS artistry management do track maintenance for 18 months using sledge hammers as recompense. Maybe they can learn the hard way what it takes to get a job done.
