The shorting of FAR at the moment is understandable.

Managements pursuit of the PE situation has introduced risk and uncertainty.
This in turn results in downward pressure on the SP

This is what a shorter looks for.

It can only end once the outcome is known.

A shorter can win even if PE is achieved or isn't, so its a good bet.
A PE that involves raising and dilution is a win for shorters.
A PE that involves a backer and no dilution of the register would probably see them covering in a hurry.

The numbers are in there favour at the moment so there isn't really anything management can do other than remove the risk and uncertainty.

Until then it is just going to crab around with the oil price
