olam's intentions, page-2

Yeah, I think everyone on this thread generally agrees that is the situation

SHV will continue to play their role, whether independently or as part of Olam.........

I actually favour independently as I still value this stock on an earnings basis and growth profile near $10.......so time independent is the best way for the stock to reach what I think is it's net present value.

Having said that, Olam's cotton acquistions in this country display a real willingness to 'overpay' for assets, at least reality to bottom of agriculture cycle valuations....which I think is the case with almonds currently

I'm very curious as to how this will play out and think it could be very lucrative
