    First I would ask, any fleachips or grazing. What is on the back of the cup and saucer, what markings, gives an indication of age.

    42 pieces could fetch a nice price. If you list on Ebay do your research first. I would list the photos and then offer a price with a 'make an offer' see what offers come in, what kind of bites you get.

    I held onto an old incomplete set of Doulton bought at a market for a few bucks. When I listed it on ebay it sold for under $30 (still profit) but found the lady had been looking for pieces for ages and she said she would have paid hundreds (ugh). So do research first.

    Be prepared to package it to post or put picking up only.

    If you are going to list locally or on Craigslist becareful of who comes to your home.
