    For the big internationals, paying $150 million for "an option" on 40% of possibly the best shale field in the region is a pittance. They may simply be happy to have it sitting in the portfolio of assets for a few years before looking to develop it commercially. These guys think in decades not weeks (like many on hotcopper).
