Hi sandy
With any change there must be an improvement worth the agony of the change.
Why do you buy shares, why do you purchase property, generally to improve your life, to give you pleasure.
Without this improvement, even if the old house is falling down why change unless there is a benefit?
The is no augment that as software gets out of date and the traffic increases it will have to be upgraded in some way.
But ALL new software has faults, some serious some annoying.
Therefore any new system must be extensively tested before implementing. With all the faults that came up in just one day of operation it is obvious that not enough testing was done.
Apart from the faults you have the problem of the total change of direction from a successful well used software to a radical different layout and operation of the new software which was introduced with no warning
There are plenty of other discussion sites that use that new software to be able to give people the opportunity to comment on the type of change envisioned prior to the launch
The type of software that was chosen will never be as quick to navigate around or as user friendly or intuitive to use as our tried and true (old) HC
So I am not against change but am against chang without sufficient benefits.
Also IMHO everyone appreciates the work that the mods do in their sometimes thankless task but a dead horse is a dead horse so don't flog it
