the BHP and RIO's are like the people with very old money,
they knew the difference in how to keep it within the family
it stayed there for generations and was handed down, together with huge land estates (the land they owned was only ever leased out, it was never sold)
whereas you can see how the new money is all crass...
they splurge it on the here and now....and if there is anything left to hand down, the kids have watched their parents and they know how to get rid of it fast....
it is only the subsequent children that become smart with money again....after they have watched the last two generations waste their heritage and inheritance
