The Prime Minister announced the $5 million Carnegie grant in addition to a new $75
million funding program for emerging renewable energy technologies such as CETO at a
press conference held at Carnegie’s research & development facility in Fremantle,
Western Australia.
“Wave energy, such as that being developed by Carnegie Corporation in Perth, is a
leading innovative renewable energy technology."
