chuk - if the Aussie goes to 75c I don't think gold will be higher in USD. Could be wrong but at 75c I'd say we are looking at 1000 USD gold. However, that still above A$1300 which for ABU will be fine and longer term if that happens global production will fall but in my view thats a medium to longer term bullish view i.e. 5 years plus.
The thing I like is anything above A$1200-1300 and ABU can make plenty of cash while many others will end up on care and maintenance.
