Yep, the younger generations, and indeed generations not even born yet are the ones paying to protect the vulnerable over 70s pensioners from covoid 19, losing jobs and businesses and being forced to home school kids, and the pensioners being protected aren't being asked to bare any of the financial cost for their own well being at all, it is staggering really. I call for the government to garnish all over 70s pensions by 20% and put that money towards paying for the job keeper payments and other business stimulus packages that are now required as a result of the lockdowns that have occured to protect the vulnerable over 70s. And the over 70s should be bloody greatfull for it.
