Did WZR actually state any goals for the advertising spend anywhere (I may have missed it)? That's what they should be measured on, and it's likely we'll never know.
Given the increased popularity of the Olympics broadcast the campaign may have overperformed, hope it did. Personally I thought the ads weren't great, but that's a matter of personal taste.
