The failure to capitalise on last weeks' BHP results with at least some even self-serving news is just plain weird. - NOT REALLY
If I were CHK Management and was close to a deal or JV - The last thing I would do is upset the apple cart (potential JV partner or deal) in providing information early. I have seen that with other companies and the result is Catastrophic to the deal.
If traders can't be patient (able to accept or tolerate delays, problems, or suffering without becoming annoyed or anxious) then invest elsewhere.
CHK looking the goods and 7 days or less and I am positive, positive news will flow imo
