olympic dam and ozl- a thought

BHP are asking the South Australian Government for an extension to their lease at Olympic Dam having deferred their development yet again.

It probably isn't a feasible option, but a passing thought I had was whether or not OZL should put forward a proposal to the SA Government to develop the mine and seek to get the lease transferred to them.

OZL has a track record now, has other developments in SA, aand could get synergies. I also believe its relationship with the SA Government is second to none.

THere is a lot of anti BHP sentiment growing in SA as the people think BHP are stonewalling on this development, which the state is quite desperate for. The people also want the SA government to act

Like I said, not likely but a fun thought!
