I think you are right about the rights holders.

To me, seems like GRK's strategy is to test the prospects that are least likely of success first and then move up the chain to the most likely of success. Perhaps this was to get the money back from the Geofund. Rat cunning if you ask me. If you have a look at the following links I believe it won’t be long before we start seeing some serious federal money coming in to develop some of these Geothermal prospects. Then again GRK may do a JV like PTR.
