Usually they want at least 200 degrees C, and the shallower the better (cheaper drilling, less complex) but deeper is hotter so a trade off there.
There are some new technologies coming out allowing generation at lower temperatures. These are very important long term as there are vast areas world-wide that have moderate geothermal temperatures, but currently not economic for large scale generation.
