BHP Billiton is set to announce it will not proceed with a planned $US20 billion expansion of its Olympic Dam project.
The Australian Financial Review is reporting the mining giant will cancel expansion of the copper-uranium mine in South Australia.
BHP has declined to comment but the news will be confirmed when it releases its full year results later today
