    An unusual opening ceremony to say the least .
    Couldn't help think that all the reference to the many dead was some sort of reminder of the A bombings of Japan in WW2.
    Maybe that was the intent , but as an opening theme for the Olympic games ? Made you feel like slashing your wrists , not celebrating !
