I do tend to agree about the burden to taxpayers. I do now also believe that the billions spent getting ready for the games, with new stadiums, new everything really are over. Japan is going to take the biggest hit ever for hosting the games. Most of the infrastructure is sort of in place, so let us hope we can use a lot of the existing venues we have. The days of make money from the games are over.
