Before posting this I am in no way undermining the performance of successful 2024 medalists.
But the claim of greatest ever Australian performance needs to be questioned and is clearly not backed up by facts.

2024 PARIS GAMES AVAILABLE GOLD 329.....AUSTRALIA WON 18 or 5.4%(including 2 skateboarding,1BMX and 1 tennis).
Amazing how the press can make up BS to suit the feel good story.
By any observation these results were mediocre by past standards.
