ajc77: Perhaps I am "too old" school, as I personally do like managements of companies that "have skin in the game" by BUYING their companies' shares instead of just getting free of charge options...
I believe it is a basic question of fairness between management and ordinary shareholders. Nowadays, of course, in many a company the management helps themselves to whatever they can get. We live in interesting times - but that is not necessarily pleasing.
All purely JIMHO, of course. And I could be wrong with my comments as so often.
