The $billion question is if the very basis of suspending (from listing) ISX was price volatility triggered by the OM report that was misleading and misrepresenting (allegedly for short positions or colluding with shorters), why is ASX still pursuing a case with ISX? Ego trip or as JK said to 'justify their unprecedented intervention'. I think the announcements we saw yesterday is a plan (strategic) to go after ASX once OM's manipulative links are confirmed. ASX should stop the witch hunt (publicly tarnishing) and see this through in consultation with ISX. The two parties need to work together maturely and not allow past actions to continue to create hurdles.

Meanwhile, ASIC has a job to do as a regulator. Organisations like OM, trolls, shorters, etc all had a free pass for too long at the cost of shareholders. The truth will ultimately prevail. However, as shareholders (and taxpayers), we have an obligation to put pressure on these regulators to do their job.
