My guess is that this report has the potential to pile some more stuff on top of the great big steaming pile of bumph that has plagued the Kingaroy project since this contamination furphy began the rounds of all and sundry. It's also likely that the message contained will be misconstrued by some and misused by others. So even more "supervision" should have been required of Big Brother before approval to drill baby drill was given? Given the quality of the water was apparently known to be blah awful around the traps I can't see why CXY wouldn't have been given approval to proceed if the environmental poobahs had done their job properly before drilling commenced. If anything, CXY should have been on firmer ground if the approval process had been more rigorous and rational in its methodology.
